On Friday, TIP will assemble and load 327 buoyancy modules to barge to be shipped to Technip. The cargo was moved from shore by crane, and placed on barge to be secured for travel. Upon arrival, Technip will prepare the modules for shipment via vessel to their final destination.

Theodore Industrial Port received the first of three shipments of coils for PSL on Monday. In all, 260 coils were loaded onto barge. The total weight of the cargo was 7,355.31 net tons.

Over the past three weeks, the staff at Theodore Industrial Port has been working hard to dismantle a shiploader previously located at the Alabama State Port Authority. The demolition project included removal, and transportation by barge to our facility. The project was completed both successfully and on time with the help of our talented crew.

In a project spanning over three days, Theodore Industrial Port successfully unloaded from barge, 324 pieces of FBE riser and flowline pipe and 317 pieces of GSPU flowline pipe. The pipe was unloaded and placed onto trucks to be delivered to Technip’s Mobile facility for Shell Oil Company.

Theodore Industrial Port successfully completed the offload and storage of 83 prime hot rolled steel coils by barge from ThyssenKrupp. Steel Canada LTD has been working with our facility to put the coils into storage. In a contract consisting of 7 barges total for Shell Offshore Inc., Theodore Industrial Port has successfully unloaded 450 pieces of single joint GSPU coated API pipe.
During the two day project, the cargo was taken off the barge, and loaded to truck to be sent to Technip’s Mobile facility.
